Climate XChange is co-sponsoring the Boston stop on the Green New Deal Tour.
On April 18th, 2019, the Road to Green New Deal will launch in Boston! Our event hopes to set our vision for the Green New Deal on a national stage and build a broad base of support for the GND across Massachusetts.
Attendees will gather at the historic Strand Theatre in Dorchester for an inspiring event that spotlights youth and grassroots leaders who are leading the charge for the Green New Deal. Speakers will include political leaders who are championing the effort for the Green New Deal in Congress, movement leaders mobilizing thousands to join the fight, and local community leaders who are leading the way to the transition to a society that works for all of us and protects the air we breathe, water we drink, and places we call home.
We know our event has to explode if we want to build broad-based support behind the Green New Deal and put pressure on our political leaders to pass the resolution. We’re hoping to get 1400 people to show up – can you join us to make this happen?
