The impacts of this year’s local, state, and federal elections are not yet clear, but the path forward is: we must continue to pass effective climate policies that meet the urgency of the moment.
It’s critical that as we take action on the climate crisis, we must also ensure that communities across the country realize the benefits of the policies we pass. As the U.S. stands to potentially withdraw from the Paris Agreement, roll back climate legislation, and weaken the authority of federal regulators, state governments will lead our nation’s response to climate change.

Our 9th Annual EV Raffle
For the ninth year in a row, Climate XChange is putting one more electric car on the road while raising funds for our work. This year we’re once again raffling off a fully-customized EV and with over 50 models on the market today, this will be our largest selection ever for Grand Prize options!
Our Grand Prize winner can choose a fully-customized EV from any manufacturer, up to $120,000, with all taxes paid by us. We’ve also increased the value of our 2nd Place ($12,500) and 3rd Place ($7,500) cash prizes.
We’re also excited to bring back our bonus Early Bird Drawing. For every ticket you purchase by December 31st, you’ll be entered into a second drawing for $10,000. All tickets will still be entered into our final drawing, but early buyers will be eligible for this additional prize, which will be drawn on January 3, 2025. We have worked hard to create a fair and transparent raffle, which is why we hire auditors to oversee our drawing process and we livestream our selection of Grand Prize, Second Prize, and Third Prize winners so you can feel comfortable they were fairly chosen. The proceeds from last year’s raffle helped fund the development of our redesigned State Climate Policy Dashboard. The Dashboard provides information on 62 state-level climate policies across 50 states and features in-depth state examples, model legislation, and enacted policy text. This one-of-a-kind tool is designed to inform decision-making and help craft the most impactful state-level policies.
Our EV Raffle also helps fund the State Climate Policy Network, a coalition of more than 15,000 legislators, executive branch officials, advocates, and technical experts working across the country to advance climate policy. We offer tools and resources to help state actors advance climate action, including policy calls and webinars, quarterly legislator discussions, a biweekly newsletter, and pro bono policy assistance.
